This week\u2019s spotlight is on Dutch TTF Gas. It is important to look at ‘psychological levels’ such as the 100 handle. Everyone’s eyes were on the interaction with the level. Let’s see how it played out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set-up<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

TTF came into the week at its highest levels since December 2022 on the continuation chart. Our first bigger-picture target at 93.64<\/strong> was hit last Friday, with gains to 94.11<\/strong>, and Monday opened with a gap above that level. 94.11<\/strong> started life as gap support. 100.00<\/strong> was the obvious next target, and the report was firmly in \u201cDon\u2019t fight it!\u201d mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Price pushed up to 97.64<\/strong>, but the session ended as a Doji. The important bit<\/strong>: the low was 94.20<\/strong>, so gap support at 94.11<\/strong> held. Keeping with the Bulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A dip to 93.40<\/strong> found buyers, just above the 93.00<\/strong> Naked VPOC, and we rallied to a late high of 97.30<\/strong>. so gap filled but buyers returned on doing this; bullish price action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We switched to the December contract. The 100<\/strong> mark was hit, with a high of 100.585<\/strong>, and as often happens when round numbers are reached, sellers and profit-takers stepped in. That left a small green candle with plenty of upper shadow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We added a steep short-term uptrend line to the chart – providing a “Bullish above”\/trailing stop reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A dip to 95.09<\/strong> found buyers again, and we rallied to a late high of 99.13<\/strong>. Each pullback this week has been bought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday so far<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We gapped up on the open and 99.13<\/strong> held as support early on, and as we write we\u2019re trading at new highs for the move, with a 103 handle. Trend support moves up to 94.12<\/strong> today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we\u2019re watching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While the uptrend line stays below price (94.12<\/strong> today), we\u2019re 100% behind the bulls. 99.13<\/strong> is the gap support from Thursday. Above that, 102.50<\/strong> and 103.00<\/strong> are near-term references, then 110.47<\/strong> is the next ‘bigger-picture’ Fibonacci target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
